As part of the submission process, authors are required to check that their submission meets all of the elements shown below. Submissions that do not meet these guidelines will be returned to authors.
Systematic Reviews. Systematic reviews with or without meta-analysis will be accepted, giving priority to systematic reviews with meta-analysis, whose subject matter has not been published as a review recently. Meta-analyses without a systematic review will not be accepted.
References should follow the standards outlined in the NLM International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals: Referencing Samples from the website (https://www.nlm.nih.gov/bsd/uniform_requirements.html) and detailed in NLM Citing Medicine, 2nd edition. These resources are regularly updated as new media are developed and currently include guidance for printed documents; Unpublished material; Audiovisual and audio-visual media; Material on CD-ROM, DVD or disk; and Internet material.

The Revista de la Facultad de Medicina adheres to the "Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICJME) (http://www.icmje.org/icmje-recommendations.pdf). Please note that articles submitted to the Revista de la Facultad de Medicina must strictly conform to the following guidelines, otherwise they will not be considered for the initial stage of the process (Initial Review) and will be rejected outright.
- The article and the complementary documents (assignment of rights https://goo.gl/EfWPdX, authorship responsibility https://goo.gl/6zztk4, commitment to publish in English https://goo.gl/4rhxxh, ICJME conflict of interest disclosure form https://bit.ly/3vZvVFD), must be filled out by all authors and must be filled out in step 2 of the submission. In the case of studies requiring institutional ethics committee approval or those requiring informed consent (e.g., case reports), copies of these files should also be uploaded in step 2. Submissions that do not include any of these files will be rejected.

Identificar en la literatura científica el panorama clínico de la población pediátrica que dio positivo para SARS-CoV-2 y las recomendaciones de atención y recomendaciones entre los niños que dieron positivo para SARS-CoV-2 en la literatura científica.
Revisión rápida basada en las directrices del Instituto Joana Briggs: elaboración de la pregunta de investigación, búsqueda estructurada de la literatura en abril de 2020, en nueve bases de datos, selección y análisis crítico de los dieciocho estudios primarios (utilizando dos instrumentos para evaluar la calidad metodológica), elaboración de la síntesis, incorporación de sugerencias y difusión.
El cuadro clínico más frecuente fue respiratorio, síntomas gastrointestinales y fiebre. Las imágenes mostraban opacificación en vidrio esmerilado irregular. Se recomienda examinar a la población pediátrica y a los familiares que presenten signos y síntomas y adoptar el aislamiento durante más de catorce días.
